The world is moving to a low-carbon economy. Staying competitive and creating a prosperous future for all Canadians requires a strategic, collaborative approach to industrial policy.
Building the supply chains and infrastructure we need for a net-zero world is a massive task. Getting there requires making the most of limited public funds to make strategic investments that catalyze transformation and mobilize private capital. The Centre for Net-Zero Industrial Policy will strengthen and mobilize Canada’s expertise in modern industrial policy, enabling strategic collaboration between government, industry, indigenous communities, labour, and financial institutions in pursuit of good jobs and a competitive economy.
